Just thought we'd write to let y'all know we are having a right good time here in Minnesota on this trip we took. Went to a real pretty church this mornin'. The service woulda seemed better if little Junior hadn't been allergic to this smoke that came outta some little lantern they carry up the aisle, his asthma started acting up real bad and what with his wheezin' and all couldn't nobody around us hear what the preacher was sayin'. They was real nice about it though.....told us to pray real hard before we came back to visit them again.
We lost the dog back near Owatonna but the police up here is real nice, too....say they have lots of other Pit Bulls up in these parts and will let us know soon as he buys the farm. Jokes on them...he ain't got no money to buy no farm! Lord have mercy.
Little Mary Beth slipped on some ice at the campground and sprang her arm, but it's healing up pretty good....she can't bend it up to chew her fingernails so one hands 'bout down to a nub but the hurt one is growing nails like a weed.
They got these casinos up here on somethin called a reservations and they had a big buffet....it was a fine way to eat Easter dinner. The kids had a time there spittin sunflower seeds at the machines. The owners was nice and even had us escorted back out to the RV by some fella in a uniform.
If our gas money holds out we oughta be back home next week sometime.
It sure is a shame y'all couldn't come up here with us.
Don't forget to feed the hamsters and guinea pigs and the cats...I know y'all are spoilin' them rotten.
